If you have picked up this course, it is very likely because someone you love has died. And the question that keeps you up at night is not philosophical. It is personal. It is urgent. You want to know: where are they? Are they okay? Can they still hear me?

Those are the right questions. And after more than a century of careful investigation — by physicians, psychologists, physicists, and ordinary people who refused to accept easy answers — there is a body of evidence that answers them. Not proof in the sense of a mathematical equation, but evidence in the sense that a courtroom understands it: consistent testimony from credible witnesses, corroborated across independent cases, recorded under conditions that rule out the easy explanations.

Your loved one did not stop existing when their body stopped working. Consciousness, our minds, is not manufactured by our brains. The person we are exists outside of our bodies and brains. We are just using our bodies during our lives on Earth. When we stop using our Earth bodies, our minds continue as the person we are in the life after this life. You will never die.

Over the course of this program you will encounter voices recorded on ordinary electronic equipment, sessions where mediums produced information they had no way of obtaining, cases of people seeing and speaking with someone who had died, and the research of scientists who set out to disprove survival and found themselves unable to. Area by area, the case will build.

You can take this course alone, but it was also built to be taken together. At the end of every lesson, you will find a section called "Questions and Topics for Group Discussion." If you are going through this course with family, friends, or a grief support group — whether gathered in the same room or connected over a Zoom call — those questions are there for you to talk through together after each lesson, sharing your own reactions to the evidence and what it means for your own loss.

You do not need to take any of it on faith. You are invited to read the evidence the way a careful juror would — weighing each case on its own, noticing where the pattern holds across completely unrelated investigators, decades, and continents. That pattern is the heart of this course.

Reflection: Before you go further, take a moment to write down — even just in your mind — the one question about your loved one you most want this course to answer. Keep it in view as you read; it will help you notice which pieces of evidence speak to you most directly.

We begin with some of the most striking evidence available: recorded sessions in which the voices of the deceased spoke directly, identified themselves, and shared details only they could have known.

Questions and Topics for Group Discussion

  1. What is the one question about your loved one that you most hope this course will answer? Would you be willing to share it with the group?
  2. Before this course, what did you believe happened after death?
  3. The lesson compares the brain to a radio receiver rather than the source of consciousness. Does that metaphor make sense to you? Why or why not?
  4. What would change in your daily life if you knew, without doubt, that your loved one still existed and could sense your presence?
  5. What kind of evidence would it take to convince you personally? Is there a difference between "proof" and "evidence that satisfies you"?
