The transition at end of this life is quite smooth and painless, with no trauma or fear. People who have made the transition describe suddenly feeling calm and comfortable, in spite of what might have been happening to their bodies. They then are aware, often to their great surprise, that they are in a new condition. They are happy, out of pain, feeling light as a feather. They don’t even notice the transition. In this video, I explain accounts by people speaking from the afterlife about what happened when their bodies died.

The transition is easy and painless. People don’t even realize it is happening. Every person speaking from the life after this life has wonderful stories to tell about their delight at discovering they are still alive. After they have transitioned, people are the same as they were before the transition, with all the senses they had and with body experiences, so they have no indications they are no longer in the body. Many people believe themselves to be in a dream from which they will soon awaken. Some people describe exciting experiences immediately after they make the transition. Others describe a short period of sleep before awakening to the wonderful experiences.

The first thoughts of many who make the transition are of their loved ones still on earth. When they have that thought, they are immediately in their presence on earth. They are able to come into the earth’s environment when they want to visit their loved ones. However, most are very disappointed when their loved ones cannot see or hear them. Their loved ones make no response to their presence. That is why learning to communicate with those in spirit is very important for us and for them.

Some people awaken in a hospital-like setting called a “reception area” or “rest house,” where people help them make the adjustment to being out of the body and their loved ones come to visit. It is most often described as having many beds and no walls.

Others who have transitioned describe awakening in a comfortable room with beautiful furniture and light streaming through windows. They may see around them familiar surroundings, such as in a room where they grew up. Their family now in the life after this life are there when they awaken.

In other accounts given by people who have made the transition, the person awakens in a natural setting and is greeted by a loved one.

People generally are no longer interested in their bodies after the transition, but those speaking from the life after this life often describe going to their own funerals.

There are always reunions with the people and pets the person loved while in Earth School, although the reunion may be delayed when the transition is sudden or when the person goes through a period of rest or sleep. Family, friends, and acquaintances have a joyous coming-home experience with the new arrival. Most are joyful reunions with family members. There is no requirement that we meet people we do not want to meet, even though they may want to connect.

You will be the same person after the transition as before, with all the same personality traits, attitudes, likes, dislikes, and knowledge about life and the life after this life. The transition is the same as boarding a plane in one country and getting off in another. You will be the same person, just in a new environment.

In the days and weeks after the transition, your perspective will change. After all, you will be sure of the reality that life continues after the body stops functioning, and the importance of everything on earth will diminish.

Nearly all the descriptions from people living in the next life of what happened to them after the transition that are uplifting and full of happy discoveries. It is a wonderful time that we can look forward to.
