We have been discussing in this space our recent gradual loss of faith in all of humankind’s old human-made and fear-based institutions, and wondering what might be coming next. Because people need to believe in something!
In this seven-part series for Seek Reality Online, we have come to see that our religions and our governments have only ever been able to rule us by instilling in us some deeply strange and often completely irrational fears.
Like the notion of a loving Christian God who is somehow also cranky enough to send us to hell for even trivial sins. And who demands of us the brutal blood-sacrifice of that Creator God’s own best-beloved Child.
And yet, we know now after the first five weeks of this series that a genuine Creator God exists! And we live in a universe that Creator God has sufficiently and continuously fine-tuned to bring forth life from plain primordial dust.
Furthermore, we have seen enough evidence to feel confident that Jesus is a genuine historical being who did, amazingly, rise from the dead.
So at least God is real, and Jesus is real. But all the rest of what we have been taught to believe of all the religions that used to surround them has to be seen as now open to question.
So this begins to feel like humankind’s pivotal moment. We are transitioning from what we might call the end of the material phase of human existence, when we used to trust our lying eyes, and entering our spiritual phase, and we who are presently alive on earth are privileged to be part of the amazing transition which may well have always been humankind’s destiny.
We are beginning to realize that we are inherently spiritual beings. Our transition to living as an integral part of what is a deeply love-based greater reality will not be immediate. But if we will follow Jesus as He leads us in this transition, we can begin to envision for humankind a much brighter future.
Afterlife research demonstrates that every person on earth is a walking crowd. We live our lives surrounded by Invisibles! Each one of us has a primary spirit guide who has helped with the planning of this earth-lifetime before we entered it, and then is with us through life to make sure that each mark is hit.
We have other guides, too, as we need them, when we choose to study the piano for example, or if we come down with liver cancer or we write a book or go to college, or if we might decide to move to France; and sometimes a deceased loved one or our childhood pet will join us as a member of our guidance team.
Each of us might have as many as eight or ten guides on occasion. As the French Jesuit priest Pierre Teilhard de Chardin has said, “We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience.”
And we have lately come to realize that what we experience as conscious awareness is our own connection to the deeper consciousness which actually is all that exists.
The fact that consciousness underlies everything was the greatest discovery of the twentieth century, and it was fittingly made by the revered founding quantum physicist Max Planck, who said in 1931, “I regard consciousness as fundamental. I regard matter as derivative from consciousness. We cannot get behind consciousness! Everything that we talk about, everything that we regard as existing, postulates consciousness.”
And long before he lent his name to a line of fine electric cars, Nikola Tesla said, “The day science begins to study non-physical phenomena, it will make more progress in one decade than in all the previous centuries of its existence.”
Aha! Now at last we are getting somewhere! Even the estimable traditional physicist Albert Einstein once said, “Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one.” But what does all of this have to do with God? Jesus was born on earth to explain that to all of us a very long time ago….
Conclusion
The exploration of humanity’s transition from reliance on fear-based institutions to a deeper understanding of spirituality and consciousness reveals a pivotal moment in our existence. While traditional beliefs may be questioned, the recognition of a genuine Creator God and the existence of Jesus provide a foundation for this shift. Through afterlife research and the acknowledgment of spiritual guidance, we come to understand ourselves as inherently spiritual beings experiencing a human existence. The profound insights of figures like Max Planck, Nikola Tesla, and Albert Einstein underscore the interconnectedness of consciousness with our understanding of reality and the divine. Ultimately, the journey towards a brighter future for humanity lies in embracing this spiritual awakening and following the guidance of Jesus as we navigate this transformative transition.
FAQs
How do we create our reality?
Our reality is shaped by our thoughts, beliefs, and perceptions. According to the concept that “we create our reality,” the energy we emit through our consciousness influences the events and circumstances we encounter in life. By focusing on positive thoughts and intentions, we can consciously shape the reality we experience.
What role does consciousness play in reality?
Consciousness is considered the basis of reality. As stated by Max Planck, “consciousness is fundamental,” implying that all aspects of existence stem from consciousness. This perspective suggests that our perception of reality is inseparable from our conscious awareness, and understanding consciousness is essential for comprehending the nature of reality itself.
How can we understand ourselves as spiritual beings?
Recognizing that “we are spiritual beings” involves understanding our existence beyond the physical realm. According to Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, our human experience is a manifestation of our spiritual essence. This viewpoint emphasizes the interconnectedness of all beings and the significance of our spiritual journey amidst the material world.
