- The Biblical Gospel Teacher who is Jesus, around whom Constantine built the Roman Christian religion which now is gradually dying worldwide, is in fact a genuine historical figure. The fact that Jesus actually lived and taught is by now a proven fact. That same Jesus also is amazingly mystical beyond our current understanding, although as we come to better understand Jesus, we also are coming to better understand ourselves.
- Abundant afterlife research, when combined with recent scientific breakthroughs, has let us better understand that the reality that we see around us, no matter how solid it may seem to be, actually is not solid at all. And it is part of a much greater reality which is both infinitely gigantic and tiny in size. As we more deeply study that greater reality, we realize that not only are we eternal, but neither size nor time is a characteristic of reality itself.
So this is the pivotal moment toward which all of human history has been trending. We are transitioning from the end of the material phase of human existence toward the non-material and spiritual phase, when we will no longer be the mere successors to creatures who once lived in caves and fought one another for what we needed in order to survive. We are beginning to realize that we are in fact fundamentally spiritual beings. Our transition from being just some evolutionary product, red in tooth and claw, to living as an integral part of a deeply love-based reality will not be immediate. But if we will follow Jesus as what Jesus chose to be born on earth to become, which is our Wayshower to lead us in making this transition, then our transformation can amount to a gradual and deeply joyous awakening to understanding who we truly are.
Jesus is a fully human being, and also a fully spiritual being, and the greatest spiritual Teacher who ever has lived. There is considerable evidence that Jesus actually lived. We can prove that now without question. But what is really amazing is the abundant physical evidence surviving on the Shroud of Turin and the Sudarium of Oviedo that Jesus died on a cross, and that he then reanimated his dead body with a surge of energy so powerful that scientists who have examined the Shroud and the Sudarium say that we could not duplicate that level of energy even today. Jesus was then able to use his reanimated body to show himself to his disciples after his death. But what did Jesus actually come to teach us? We will talk about that next week.
