We have been discussing in this extended blog series humankind’s gradual loss of faith in all our longstanding human-made, and therefore fear-based institutions. Our trust in our governments and in all our religions is dying, and we wonder now where we might go next. Because people need to believe in and trust in something! In this seven-part series for Seek Reality Online, we have come to see that our religions and our governments have only ever been able to rule us by making us feel sufficiently fearful that we would feel forced to obey them. And we have furthermore only recently come to see that while none of our religious fears ever really have made much sense, and even the Christian God has been ultimately bogus, there is irrefutable evidence now that a genuine Creator God does exist, because, for example, the universe is exquisitely fine-tuned for life.
And Jesus is an historical being who did in fact amazingly rise from the dead. So a Creator God of some description is real, and Jesus is indisputably real, but everything else is now open to question.
Which means that after all our seeking, we are left with knowing only that there is indeed what we might call a secular Creator God that is beholden to no religion. And Jesus, too, who claimed to come to us from that genuine Creator is an entirely secular figure. Jesus told us that God is only Love. God is Spirit, and all of us are One in God. Ah, now we are getting somewhere!
Entering Our Spiritual Phase: Beyond Material Illusions
This does begin to feel to us like humankind’s major pivotal moment. We are transitioning from what feels like the end of the material phase of human existence, when people could be controlled by means of fear of what we could not see, but we were willing to trust our lying eyes. Now is when we begin to enter our spiritual phase, when we understand that effectively nothing is actually physical at all, and everything is empty space. And we who are presently alive on earth are privileged to be part of this amazing transition, which probably always has been humankind’s ultimate destiny. Afterlife researchers have learned of late not only that human life is eternal, but also that it is entirely consciousness-based.
Awakening to Consciousness: Embracing a New Reality in 2024
And those of us who are alive on earth in material bodies as we enter the year 2024 are beginning to see that this transition to a deeper awareness of what reality actually is may in fact be happening none too soon! As those older institutions are falling apart, the world teems with refugees and roils with little wars. But we know now, as the great quantum physicist Max Planck said in 1931, that “We cannot get behind consciousness! Everything that we talk about, everything that we regard as existing, postulates consciousness.” Quantum mechanics backs up what afterlife researchers also have learned, which is that in fact, all that exists is consciousness. As the French Jesuit priest Pierre Teilhard de Chardin has said, “We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience.”
Is There a God? Embracing Spirituality for a Brighter Future
So as we are gradually coming to understand, you and I are inherently spiritual beings, and our minds are One with the Sovereign Creator God. We are coming to realize that what we experience as conscious awareness is each person’s individual connection to the deeper Consciousness which is God, and actually is all that exists. Our transition to living as an integral part of what is in fact a deeply love-based greater reality will not be immediate, but it will instead be a glorious slow awakening. And if we will follow Jesus as He leads us in this ultimate transition, we can begin to envision for all of humankind a very much brighter future.
