We have audio recordings of people living in the afterlife speaking casually, as though they were talking into a microphone. The voices came from sessions with direct-voice medium Leslie Flint in the twentieth century.
Channeling Voices from Beyond: How Mediums Connect to the Afterlife
Those in the afterlife use the power they gain from the medium and sitters to create a voice box in the air from a substance called ectoplasm that forms from the medium’s body. Ectoplasm has been photographed and analyzed as being a colorless, slightly cloudy fluid with cell detritus and sputum.
Authentic Voices: How the Afterlife Communicates Through Familiar Speech
The person in the afterlife then focuses his or her thoughts on the voice box, creating a voice that is recognizable as theirs as it was when they were using a body on Earth. They speak in ways that a listener who knew them recognized as their characteristic ways of speaking.
Early Recording Challenges: Exploring Afterlife Communication Tech
The tape recorders were technologically primitive. George Woods and Betty Green began taping the seances using wire and paper tapes, which deteriorate over time. Later, as plastic tape for recording became available, they used it with home reel-to-reel tape recorders. The amateur recordings aren’t very high quality, however, and are riddled with background noise: hisses, pops, sounds of trucks and airplanes, and a variety of other noises. At times, the volume at which the recording was made was too high, so clipped peaks reduce the quality of the recordings.
Are There Recordings of People in the Afterlife: Unveiling Rich Voices From Future Home
In spite of the problems, however, we have today a treasure trove of recordings of people in the afterlife speaking to us about their world that is our future home. You can read the evidence that the voices were coming through from the people living in the afterlife.
This is an example. A Shakespearian actress named Ellen Terry, who had transitioned into the afterlife in 1928, came through in a session with Flint in 1964. Those who knew Terry listened to the recording and agreed it was of the woman they knew when she was living on Earth.
